Glossary

Ukmedicalstaff.co.uk, the provider of the website and associated services is referred to herein as “the company”.

The subscriber to the site or site services, be they a hospital, trust, company or other legal entity will be referred to herein as “the client”

Subscription

Term:
Subscription to the site is on an annual basis.

Services:
The range of services and functions available to the client will be confirmed to the client by the company on commencement of subscription. The range of services and costs are specified within the services section of the website.

Fees:
Fees are agreed at the time of subscription based on the prevailing rates stated on the website at the time or those agreed between the company and the client based on negotiation or special offers. Where fees vary from those stated on the website, the fee level will be confirmed to the client by the company by fax, letter or email on commencement or beforehand. Variation or alteration to fees must be confirmed to the client by the company in writing either by letter, fax or email.

Payment:
Fees are billed monthly in advance with payment terms of 21 days net.

Termination:
The agreement will run for a minimum period of 12 months from commencement and will be renewed automatically unless the client gives notice prior to the end of month 9 of the subscription term.

Notice:
The client must give 3 months notice to terminate subscription.

Changes to rates:
Should the company find it necessary to change rates it must give 3 months notice to the client and if the client does not agree the changed rate they will have the opportunity to give notice of termination regardless of the stage at which they are at in the term of the subscription.

Availability of functionality

The company and its service providers will endeavor to ensure that the site is available to clients and candidates at all times. However, the company cannot be held liable for periods when due to technical difficulties the site or elements of functionality are temporarily unavailable.
